The First-Milestone Guarantee

1. Why this guarantee and not “30-day money back”

A blanket refund window is easy to offer and tells you nothing. SheepHerder sells an outcome — followers, on the platforms you care about — so the guarantee is tied to that outcome rather than to a calendar date.

It also means the guarantee only applies if you actually used the thing. That is not a loophole; it is the point. Every creator we have watched succeed with SheepHerder did the same three things first, and the criteria below are simply those three things written down.

2. What you need to do to qualify

All four, within the 60 days following your first paid day on Shepherd and above:

1. Connect at least two platformsthat support automatic publishing, and keep them connected. A disconnected or expired account can't be posted to, and we can't measure growth we can't see.
2. Finish the niche quiz. It is what tailors your posting windows, your Otis coaching, and your plan. Skipping it means the product is guessing.
3. Post on your plan for 60 days.Concretely: publish through SheepHerder on at least 80% of the days your calendar scheduled something. Missing a few days is normal and won't void anything — abandoning the plan for a month will.
4. Don't delete your published posts. Reach needs time to accrue, and a deleted post takes its followers with it.

Every one of these is checkable from data already in your account, so there is nothing extra for you to track or screenshot.

3. What counts as your first follower milestone

Your first milestone is the next follower milestone above where you started, on any one of your connected platforms — not all of them, and not a total across them. We take your follower count on each connected platform on your first paid day as the baseline.

If you started at zero on a platform, the first milestone there is your first 100 followers. If you arrived with an existing audience, it's the next milestone step above your starting count. You will see your baselines and your current standing on the Milestones page from day one — there is no hidden target and nothing is decided after the fact.

4. What you get if you miss it

• Your first three months back — the amount you actually paid over your first three months on Shepherd and above.
• Issued as account credit plus ShepCoin, applied to your subscription. It covers your next months automatically. Your account, content, streak, and connections all stay exactly as they are.
• No obligation to stay.Claiming the guarantee doesn't lock you in. You can still cancel whenever you like — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If you'd rather have cash than credit, say so when you claim and we'll talk about it. Credit is the default because it keeps you in the product; it isn't a way of avoiding the promise.

5. How to claim

Email support@sheepherder.app with the subject First-Milestone Guarantee claim, from the address on your account, any time within 14 days of your 60-day mark.

You don't need to prove anything or attach screenshots — we check the criteria against your account ourselves. We'll reply within five business days, and if you qualify the credit is applied at the same time we reply, not after another round of questions.

If we think you don't qualify, we'll tell you exactly which criterion we read as unmet and what our data shows. If you disagree, reply and say so — we would rather pay out a borderline claim than argue with a creator about a number.

6. The honest limits

These are the things this guarantee does not cover:

• Platforms that don't publish automatically yet. X/Twitter automatic posting is not live, and Pinterest doesn't support recurring slots. Growth on those isn't part of the measurement, because we aren't doing the posting.
• Accounts penalised or suspended by a platformfor content or behaviour, including anything that violates that platform's rules.
• Free and Herder tiers. The guarantee applies to Shepherd and above.
• One claim per account.It's a first-milestone guarantee — there is only one first milestone.

We publish these limits here rather than burying them, because a guarantee you discover has fine print at the moment you try to use it is worse than no guarantee at all.

7. Changes

We may change or withdraw this guarantee for future signups at any time. If you started a subscription while it was offered, the version published on your first paid day is the one that applies to you, for your full 60 days — whatever we do to it afterwards.
